This November

Heroism can happen in many given situations- a hostage taking on the expressway or a rescue operation during a typhoon. An engineer jumping into the lion’s den to bring clean water to poor communities or a woman police chief leading her men against 250 armed rebels. Heroic acts don’t always have to end in bloodbath, it can simply end in bringing hope and justice back to the people.

I was lucky to have met these modern-day heroes in an article I did for Men's Health Philippines.

Philippines is indeed a country of heroes. || "Call of Duty".

For its November issue, MH Special Report "Call of Duty" features stories of five real life bayani's who have laid their lives on the line – and are willing to do it again- in the name of duty.

The issue has tons of cool and useful articles (for all my guy friends). Plus it has the uber hot and talented Paulo Avelino on the cover.
