You've probably heard of this church. It's pretty popular for school and company retreats, Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong's wedding, and soul searching.
And because twenties seem to be the start of soul searching episodes, my friend Juli and I decided to visit the church last Saturday.
Armed with a full tank, google map print outs and the sunniest anything-goes attitude, we set off for Caleruega.
Here are some photos I took of the famous church and the rest of the compound. Not going wordy on this post. I was kinda talked out with the Big Guy during this trip. :)
Enjoy!

I love the sky backdrop as you make your way up to the church. || Caleruega Church Transfiguration Chapel. |

Lost? He makes sure you find your way. || Signs. |
|
There are only two answers to our prayers: yes, and wait. || Chairs outside the cottages. |
|
Abundance. || Pot in the garden. |
|
Close to nature, closer to God. Lalo na pag laba sa Tide. :p || Juli by the Caleruega slogan. |

House of prayer. || The Church on the Hill. |

The garden is lined with these wood carvings illustrating (what me thinks are) The Stations of the Cross. It's pretty cool though that they're depicted by indigenous people. |

Philippians 4:6-7: "Don't be anxious in anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ." |
Blessed,
Roanni
PS: The Caleruega visit was just the first on our pretending-to-be-planned checklist. More on stuffing ourselves
here and getting lost in a treasure hunt
here all in one Tagaytay weekend. :)
