I
haven’t done a lot of travel blogging last year even though 2014 offered two of
my most epic trips to date. So to set the tone for a more frequently updated
blog this 2015, I’ll be doing some (okay, a lot) of throwback travel posts.
Most of which I’ve drafted but never really got to finish, some I’ll be
flipping through my journal and Instagram posts for reference.
To
start off, here’s a look back on our Indochina trip last March. My first trip
out of the country. Yeay!:) I’ve already given the first few dibs on our
adventure - cruising along Halong Bay in our summer outfits during winter, our
DIY Hanoi nights, enduring a 30-hour bus misadventure to Laos, and discovering
paradise that is Luang Prabang.
Normally
I’d just go on and write about the next leg of our trip (which was Vientianne). But
I’ve been getting several emails asking for the complete itinerary of our cross-country
backpacking trip, how did we get from one place to the next, and do they really let
us piss on the fields during bus stopovers?
So
here’s an overview of our two-week escapade. :)

I actually enjoyed looking back - the action, the mishaps, the places, the people you meet, the person you become, the memories that stay with you (and your hard drive :p) forever, plus that silent promise to yourself to go farther, travel wider in the months ahead.
Here's to more travels this 2015! :)
