High five, SCP5! (How to Throw the Best Christmas Party Five Years in a Row)

December will always be my favorite month for many things- Roanne Appreciation Day, bonus, Christmas shopping and of course Christmas parties left and right. One party that I look forward to every year is one with my fabulous college orgmates/barkada.

This year is our fifth Christmas together. And every year we manage to outdo the previous year’s Christmas bash. I guess here’s how.

1. Plan ahead.

Posted, October 20 2011 for SCP5.

2. Bring lots of food (regardless of price, origin or brand).

Upper left, clockwise: Estrelle's, ice cream cake, Christmas dinner around the world, Dolor's.

3. Take party games seriously...

Upper left, clockwise: food relay- SCP5, charades- SCP2, puzzle game- SCP4, longest line- SCP5.

Dead serious.

Up-down: Elaine, Ehm, Ryan on Tie-On-One battle.

4. Get people the right gifts.

Left-right: Vice, Norman, Erin.

5. Do it again next year.

SCP1, Villa Dumlao, 2007. (I came from work so I didn't make to the photo op. Tss.)

SCP2, Adriatico Mansion, 2008. (I came from work again, thus MIA in the photo op.)

SCP3, Villa Dumlao, 2009.

SCP4, Villa Dumlao 2010.

We’ve come a long way in five years. From our very first Christmas party when we were all but UP students living off our allowances, feasting on Andoks and some pizza of unknown brand.  Vice and Barbie had gone abroad and back. Gia got married. Norman graduated (finally haha).  Law school, boyfriends, masters degree, businesses. We may be busy with our own thing all year round,  but every December we never fail to get together and celebrate Christmas the Seacrumbs way.

Merry Christmas! Love, Seacrumbs.

We did it again! Here’s to more Christmases together! :)
