When people hear
Siargao, surfing is the first thing that comes to mind.
General Luna in Siargao Island, fondly called "GL" by locals, is frequented by surf pros and enthusiasts for its great waves. Foreign surfers travel across the globe just to experience
Cloud 9 (Siargao's famous waves that form thick, hollow tubes). I was able to check the place out, crossing out the Philippine Surfing Capital on my Pinoy destinations list (read about my Siargao Sidetrip
here).
Well lucky for me, I wasn't just there to ride the waves. Was thrown on the island of Siargao with several officemates for a then test run on our recently concluded project. Thus began a 5-day series of [mis]adventures, gastronomic trips and awe-inspiring dates with Mother Nature.
Sharing some snapshots of the beauty of Siargao Island. :)

How can you say goodbye to a beauty like this? |

Either way, this trip's a wonderful one.:)
